I decided to do something that I don't do today...to sit down and write a blog post with no previous plan in mind. I think I'll use this as a place to put voice to some of the vague wonderings I've been having about starting a new blog. I loved using this one while I was in Australia, but now that I'm home (and have been for 18 months!), I'm just not that interested in having a personal blog most of the time, I tend to use Facebook to share interesting links and Twitter to post short cool statements to increase my streetcred (or something like that).
I have reserved another blogger account called 500daysofstudy because I realised the other day that I only have 504 days left at university. The official start date will be Tuesday, according to my trust calculator at www.timeanddate.com. At least this way I'll have a recurring theme for my blog, rather than just talking about uni all the time on my personal blog (which I have no desire to do!).
Don't worry, Speaking Out Dreams isn't going anywhere, I love this place and I love blogging but it's been quiet for a long time and it will continue to be quiet for a while yet. If you're still reading and have any ideas, let me know!

I'm still reading religiously :). I think you should just blog to let life know how you feel about it. If you're having a crappy day, blog about that. If you do something fun... blog about that.

Sometimes I re-read your older blog posts and pretend they're new just so that I have something to do...
